Causing Hurricanes in the NHL since 1997!

The Carolina Hurricanes, formerly known as the Hartford Whalers in 1979, are based in Raleigh, North Carolina. They are the only major league sports team in North Carolina to play in Raleigh. While known as the Hartford Whalers, they have never won the Stanley Cup. In 2005-06, the Hurricanes won their first ever Stanley Cup. Will Eric Staal lead the team to the Cup next season, or cause more hurricanes on the ice?
