There are a few trades that have occurred.

TRADES

Philadelphia Flyers have traded LW Scott Hartnell to the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for LW RJ Umberger and a fourth-round draft pick in the 2015 NHL Draft.
San Jose Sharks have traded D Dan Boyle to the New York Islanders for a conditional fifth-round draft pick. If Boyle re-signs with New York BEFORE the 2014-15 regular season, it will be a fourth-round draft pick in the 2015 NHL Draft
San Jose Sharks trade C Louis Leblanc to Montreal Canadiens for conditional 2015 fifth round pick.

SIGNINGS/RESIGNINGS

Philadelphia Flyers have resigned C Brayden Schenn to a $5 million, 2 year contract extension.
Montreal Canadiens have resigned D Andrei Markov to a $5.75 million, 3 year contract.
Columbus Blue Jackets have resigned G Curtis McElhinney to a $600,000 1 year extension.
Boston Bruins sign Niklas Svedberg to a $600,000 1 year contract.
Carolina Hurricanes sign D Ron Hainsey to a $2.83 million, 3 year deal.
