Dallas, Texas. Who knew cowboy country would take up hockey?
The Dallas Stars weren't always known as the "Dallas" Stars. In 1967, the Dallas Stars had the name of the Minnesota North Stars until 1993. Dallas has only won the Cup once in 1998-99. A few days ago, during a game against the St. Louis Blues (the game was in Dallas), #17 of the Stars, Rich Peverley, collapsed on the bench and had to be revived. He had surgery today, I believe, and someday, Dallas hopes for a return from him to the NHL. Will Jamie Benn lead his Stars to the Cup, and will Peverley return to the NHL? Discuss below!
