One New York team after another!
The New York Islanders, sometimes called the Isles, are an NHL team that was introduced in 1972. The Isles have won the Stanley Cup 4 times (1979–80, 1980–81, 1981–82, 1982–83), and are searching for their 5th Stanley Cup win. On October 24, 2012, the Islanders have announced that they will be leaving the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, NY, and are moving to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY for the 2015-16 season, also hoping to make it their home for quite a while. Like the Flyers and the Penguins, they have a state rivalry with the New York Rangers, called the "Battle Of New York." Will Tavares, their young captain, take the Isles to the Cup for a 5th win, or will they go home?
